LETTER FOR STUDENTS 1ST YEAR PROGRAMMES

Dear Students,

Greetings from Galgotias University! We all are excited to welcome you to the Galgotias University family.
We know you have been at home for quite some time and are eagerly waiting to meet your Batch mates and
seniors, faculty and Staff at your beautiful campus at Galgotias University.

We have a lot planned for you and are now eagerly waiting for you to join the offline classes. You will also
have to take some extra precautions and protocols as we must defeat this pandemic together and keep
learning.
1. New Semester shall start in “online mode” for induction and orientation program from 28th
September to 1st October 2021.
2. The Offline classes will commence from 4th October 2021 on Galgotias Campus.

In view of above we appeal to all of you to keep the COVID Protocols as follows:

1. GU has always been following and implementing all the safety measures as per the guidelines of the UGC,
State Government and the Central Government. In addition, it is requested that the students parents
should strictly adhere to the safety protocols followed inside the campus.

2. The detail class schedule for classes day wise shall be available on the university website and on your
registered e-mail ID. For other updates and important information, you may visit university website/
social media regularly.

3. The SOP to help and to build your confidence will be sent to you shortly. A list of helpline numbers will
also be sent. You may contact the university staff and faculty for any query.

FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS:

Galgotias International students are spread across 45+ countries and international flights are still restricted
by some countries due to which international students may not be able to join offline classes. International
students may continue the classes online, however, those students who are in India may opt to come and
attend the offline classes as well as per the above schedule.

FOR HOSTEL:
 The hostel rooms will be available to book for students and can be occupies from 15.09.2021
onwards. Since hostel seats are limited, we request you to book in advance to get a seat due to limited
availability of on-campus seats.
 The hostel rooms are completely sanitized and all Covid protocols will be followed.
 A separate hostel helpline has been given to assist you for any hostel queries.

 All students opting to stay in the Galgotias in-campus hostels will be eligible for free Covid
Vaccination sponsored by the University. You will have to register with us for the vaccination drive.
