I have a big family.

The oldest in our family is our grandfather. He is 67 years old. He's very smart and it's
always fun to be with.

My grandfather is also very smart, he knows how to work the fields and the stables, he
taught me to read and count.

My grandmother used to read me funny stories, and now she and I often read the poems of
Federico Garcia and the books of Julio Verne.

My mother and I walk a lot in the parks, we go to art galleries. Dad teaches me to drive his
truck, and we also go for a walk with him from time to time.

My father met my mother in the municipality of Pueblo Rico Risaralda, they fell in love and
began life at an early age. My father was 19 years old and my mother 17 years old, my
father is a heavy vehicle driver and my mother a housewife but she likes to be in the
countryside, they lasted as a couple 8 years of relationship and 4 years married.

My family is very close even though my parents are separated. We are on good terms and
we trust each other. We like to have friends at home, and they come to visit willingly. Mom
and I usually cook something special. Mom makes cookies, so I like to treat guests to
delicious desserts and cakes.

My family is very important to me. My parents and grandparents instilled in me a love of

knowledge. They taught me good manners, the correct idea of what a family is, what
qualities any person should have. In my opinion, family plays one of the main roles in
everyone's life. The family lays the foundation for the personality.
