TRAINING PROPOSAL

I. Proposed Training:
Training of Secondary School Trainers in Google Apps for Education

II. Objectives:
 To capacitate all participants as trainers in the user orientation at
the school levels; and

 To provide a venue to facilitate the planning and implementation of

user orientations at the school levels.

III. Rationale:
 Introduction of the program as a means of direct communication,
one of the growing concerns of the agency;
 Internet is an ever growing infrastructure with social networking
and other informal communications;
 There is a need to engage the internet as a formal infrastructure;
 Framed as part of GoEducation program of both empowering
teachers and building facilities that will aid learning;
 Extension of @deped.gov.ph as a means of identifying to the
organization; and
 We can communicate, collaborate, and belong to the Department
of Education

IV. Methodology:

The training will provide opportunity for participants to acquire skills in

the use of Google Apps. Capable ICT teachers from each school in Cluster
7 were selected to attend the training. Each of them is required to
facilitate in the school level training with the school ICT leaders as
participants. School ICT leaders, in each school are then responsible to
echo the training to their co-teachers.
