OBJECTIVE OF THIS ACTIVITY
At the end of the seminar-workshop, the participants shall be able to:
● Familiarize concepts in the preparation of Detailed Engineering Design
(DED); 2018 CMGP
● Clearly define the design criteria and survey procedures for road projects;
● Know the geometric relationships that exist between variable and constant
design considerations for local roads;
● Determine the different pavement types, and the use of different types of
joints and reinforcement to control the forces acting on the concrete
pavement;
● Understand the basic concepts of drainage design; and
● Prepare DED.
