Visit Report Regarding Customer Complaint of Soap Noodles, Khtoon Soap Industries, Gujranwala
Objective of Visit
This is with reference to customer complaint regarding soap noodles dispatched to Khatoon Soap
Industries private limited Gujranwala Via three different Vehicles.
Customer complained about product color difference, fragrance problem. This consignment does not
comply with their specifications.
Joint Visit of team at Customer Site
As per SCIL management decision a team comprising R&D, Lab, Material management department
visited the Customer site on 03.09.2021.Following team members visited the site to attend the
complaint.

Customer Observations
SCIL team met with the Director Production and QA (Engr. M Touseef Aslam) and Manager QA (Mr
Mirza Aftab), and the following are their observations.
1. They complained that the color of soap bars made from noodles of Sitara doesn't match the
soap made from its competitor's noodles.
2. They said that in some of ours batch production, perfume smell was removed in soap bars;
they ask to check whether or not Sitara noodles become rinsed.
Conclusions/Finding
1. At SCIL's dispatch, the product complied with our FPS (Finished product Specifications). According
to Manager R&D, the colour of vegetable oil cannot be consistent; it varies, which is why some of
our batches were dull in comparison to our competitors. They concur with our position..
2. When we inquired about the fragrance problem, they could not provide us with a sample of our
soap noodles or the batch number. We requested that to provide us with your sample analysis
report for our soap noodles, but they were unable to do so. Even though we offered to make soap
experimentally in their lab for sampling, they declined and stated that it would require approval
from our management.
Action Plans
Following actions should be taken to avoid such recurrence in future.
Both parties agree on this stance: SCIL will send the sample, analysis report, and batch number to
Khatoon Soap, who will sample and cross-check the results. After clearance, we will send the same
batch to them.
