Slope stability analysis

The main objective of the analysis is to find the worst-case factor of safety for sliding.
Different features can be added to the result view according to our choice. The software
analyses different slip circles and determines the minimum factor of safety.
We have done the upstream and downstream slope stability analyses with respect to their
respective worst conditions, i.e., rapid drawdown and full-reservoir conditions in to different
analysis models.

Steps:
1. Drawing the model geometry.
2. Defining the hydraulic function that is the volumetric water content functions.
3. Defining the material properties according to mohr-coloumb model and volumetric
water content functions from the previous steps.
4. Draw material in to the geometry drawn.
5. Defining and drawing the slip surface entry and exit points.
6. Solve the given model.
7. Results can be shown in different features according to our choice.

RESULTS
Our results are directly exported as a picture file from GeoStudio.
Showing results of
a) factor of safety
b) the flow through the dam
c) the phreatic line or isobars.
d) The upstream and the downstream failure plane. On their worst-case scenario.
