Vision, Mission and Goal of the School
1. What is your interpretation of the VMG of the RMMC-Grad School?
My interpretation about the VMG or the Vision, Mission and Goal of
Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges- Grad School is that for the Vision this
aims to developed for high excellency of the institution and for the Mission this is
for the curriculum that addresses to the needs of the community and society and
also focuses on the needs of the students and stakeholders in the learning
content to be learn and taught. To provide quality education among its learner. Its
Goals and Objectives really focuses on the students needs on how to help
students be productive and holistic as they perform outside school and in
workplace. The institution also aims for more researches that made the students
love the culture of research. By the means of research this really help a lot to
individuals, students, teachers in knowing problems and on how to deal with it by
interpreting and gathering data. This also helped Grad- school students to be a
research enthusiast, develop their writing, speaking, critical and reasoning skills.
To think of problems and situations in the workplace that needs to be address or
needs further innovations. The institution also provides outreach programs to
express gratitude and help to the less fortunate individuals which really promotes
love and care to other people even help the community and society status.
RMMC also collaborates and connects with the establishments and fields were
their students practice their chosen career and profession. To be more efficient
and effective product and graduate of the institution. The experiences and
learnings inculcate from the professors to their students play a vital role as the
students apply his/her learnings in his/her own career or profession.

2. How will you apply the VMG
2.1 As a student
VMG plays a major role in every institution and should be
acknowledged. To effectively apply the school’s VMG, it is vital to
recognize and value the school’s VMG which empowers us to realize our
full potential and fulfill professional development. As a student VMG
serves as a guide on how to be a holistic learner, to be more enthusiast
and to give importance to the efforts of the stakeholders and to become a
productive student. Knowing the VMG of the institution where I choose to
study my M.A will help me as a student to value the curriculum,
professors, stakeholders and the institution. As a student it really needs to
memorize, inculcate to the heart and mind and to practice the VMG all the
time to show that as a learner we really value the institution or the school
we are in. To fulfill the VMG of the school every student must practice it to
become an excellent and holistic product of RMMC- Graduate School.
2.2 As a future graduate of RMMC- Grad School
As a future graduate of RMMC- Graduate school knowing and
understanding the VMG of the school will be a great help in applying the
practices in the real scenario and field of work. The experiences and
practices from the learnings in the graduate school with the help of VMG
will become a path or map in dealing different people and students in the
work field as a teacher, as a professional and as a colleague. We all know
that the map serves as a direction or knowing the way, next step. Same as
to value the VMG of the school this will really help me in the field of my
profession to have a guide about the next step what to do, what to apply

and what is useful in the field of my profession. VMG of RMMC also help
me as a future graduate to become an efficient and effective teacher and
colleague in my work station. The learnings and values from studying in
RMMC- Grad. School will be use in dealing students inside my classroom
for them to be also a better person and holistic individual. VMG will serve
also as a guide in fulfilling the duty of being a teacher and a M.A graduate
from RMMC to share brilliant ideas and practices to my workplace. To
become a productive teacher, enthusiast and full of patience,
understanding and kind to my students will also build a rapport for the
class to become fun and enjoyable in learning.

2. Why study philosophy of education?
We need to study philosophy of education because it helps us to analyze
concepts, definition, arguments and problems. As a teacher in profession
knowing the philosophy of education helps us to understand, analyze and view
the different behavior of students and their perspectives in learning. Apart from
understanding student’s perspectives and behaviors towards learning they may
also be able to understand their actions as well. Teacher being the mentor and
facilitator of learning plays a vital and crucial role in inculcating learning and
inculcating independent thinking to students. Philosophy helps teacher in having
a map or a direction, a path on how to plan in helping students to reach their
destinations. Learning and studying philosophy of education teaches a teacher
the concept of not prejudicing the personality of each student. teacher must
consider and treat students equally and fairly. Teacher may also let his/her
students to learn and know about philosophy of education for the students to
have a clearer view and understanding about their behavior and actions in
learning and to develop a better perspective about their life and future,

The relationship of philosophy to teaching and learning is that philosophy
helps a person on how to teach and learn something. Since philosophy is
wisdom, education transmits that wisdom from generation to the other.
Philosophy is in reality the theory of education. Teacher’s philosophy is his/her
reflective statement of beliefs about teaching and learning. Having philosophy

and applying it in teaching and learning may convey an effective context in
discipline. Philosophy is a main strategic tool of a teacher in dealing students. On
how a teacher be more effective and efficient teacher in dealing students and
appropriate assessments to be used in assessing learners. Philosophy also a
very helpful on using appropriate strategies to be used in interacting and
mentoring students. Interaction between teacher and students is very important
in learning to be successful.
