INDO-PACIFIC LANDPOWER CONFERENCE 2021

Thank you in advance for your participation in the 2021 Indo-Pacific Landpower
Conference! We are pleased to be able to host this conference for the second year
running in a virtual format, and we believe that a discussion of “Preserving a Free and
Open Indo-Pacific through Strength and Preparedness” is more important than
ever. United States Army Pacific is endeavoring to take advantage of the virtual format
to bring in the highest level of United States Army and United States Indo-Pacific
Command leadership, as well as other experts from the governments of Allies and
Partners from across the region. We look forward to a great discussion of our common
challenges and opportunities as land forces operating in this very diverse and
important section of the world.

Given these challenging times, we realize how valuable your time and attention
are, and the United States Army Pacific Staff is committed to ensuring your
participation in this conference is rewarding. This initial information packet provides a
conference overview and administrative instructions. A more detailed agenda and
accompanying information will be provided on or about May 7th, 2021. We will also
post up-to-date information on Microsoft Teams, which will be accessible to participants
after you complete registration. The remainder of this packet contains the following:

Section 1: Conference Overview—Agenda


The 2021 Indo-Pacific Landpower will be held virtually over Microsoft Team this year to better accommodate our Allies and
Partners as they continue to combat the COVID-19 pandemic in their respective countries. The conference will be hosted by the
Commanding General, United States Army Pacific, and all other attendees, speakers, and panelists will participate remotely. The
United States Army has established Microsoft Teams accounts for the purpose of conducting this conference, and following
sections will contain instructions for registering these accounts.

Here is the agenda in its current state. All times and dates are in Hawaii-Aleutians Standard Time, which corresponds to UTC -
10:00. We will send out a refined version of this agenda closer to conference execution.

Section 3.c.: Scheduled Microsoft Teams Rehearsal Times

1. United States Army Pacific will conduct scheduled communications


checks/rehearsals at the following times:

- Rehearsal meeting #1: On 10 MAY at 1600 hours (HST)

- Rehearsal meeting #2: On 13 MAY at 1600 hours (HST)

- Rehearsal meeting #3 (Final): On 17 MAY at 1600 hours (HST)
