Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

1. The Gospel describes the reaction of the Blessed Virgin Mary after the angel announced to her
that she will be the Mother of God. The Gospel explicitly says that MARY RAN IN HASTE to HER
cousin ELizabeth. Nagmadali cya.
2. Mary RAN in HASTE because she wanted to share something which she could not just contain for
herself. She received something so great that she has to share this. Sabin ni Bishop Bacani,

proclaim it in order that we share to others our JOY. Kaya mahilig tayo sa tarpaulin: pumasa ng
LET, BAR, may award. We want to share our Joy. The same with MARY, kasi wala pang tarpaulin
at facebook, siya mismo ang nagdala ng balita doon sa kanyang pinsang si Elizabeth.
3. Ngayong uso na ang facebook at karamihan nakatutok na si Internet, nawawala na ang personal
encounter. Nawawala na ang personal touch. We create our own ZONE OF COMFORT. Ang
lungkot isipin na sa loob bahay, magkakasama nga tayo, pero walang kibuan dahil nakatutok tayo
sa FB, sa ML. Wala na ding salu-salo sa hapag kainan, dahil late na gumising sa umaga dahil sa
pagpupuyat sa online games. Wala din sa tanghalian kasi late na din nagbreakfast. At sa gabi,
nakatutok ulit sa CP at Internet.
4. Share your JOY. and that Joy is borne from our ENCOUNTER: PERSONAL and INTIMATE
ENCOUNTER. And from our PERSONAL and INTIMATE ENCOUNTER, we also ENCOUNTER THE
LORD. Seize this opportunity to have quality time with your family members: tells stories. Help in
the chores. Garden together. Discover a recipe.
5. Mary ran in haste because she has received the Lord. “Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with

6. THUS, the LORD is PRESENT in our MIDST, in the WORD, and in the EUCHARIST. We receive the
LORD in this MASS that is why at the end of the MASS we are exhorted to GO and PROCLAIM the
Lord whom we encountered at MASS. The LORD has to affect every aspect of our life. may
pagbabago dapat. Or at least my STRUGGLE PARA MAGBAGO. Hindi tugma yung pagsisimba at
pakikipag-away, yung pagsismba at pagchichismis, yung pagsisimba at pagnanakaw, yung
pagsisimba at pagiging unfaithful. Yung Misa ay nagpapatuloy sa ating pang-araw, araw na buhay.
Yung BUhay natin ay isang PANALANGIN.
7. THIS is how Mary expressed her JOY: “My soul magnifies the GREATNESS of the LORD, my spirit
REJOICES in GOD my SAVIOR.” Ang kanyang kaligayahan ay naging pagsamba! Her Joy was
transformed to faith. Her life is her prayer. Her life is a mirroring of the presence of God. Yung
buhay niya ay isang maliwanag na palatandaan na nagpapakita ng PRESENCYA ng Diyos. At Dito
nakasalalay ang kadakilaan ni Maria! Mary is great because GOD is great IN HER LIFE. Dakila si
Maria sapagkat DAKILA ang DIYOS sa kanyang buhay!
8. Receive the Lord in your life. Allow him to be enter your everyday personal encounter. And when
you have received the Lord, proclaim by your life, word and deed.
