2KW Jumbo Size SMPS - Parts List
2KW Jumbo Size SMPS - Parts List
4 1000uF/400V (or equivalent values vailable on hand) C7, C8, C9, C10
1 470pF/1KV HV Cap C1
1 104 / 50V Mylar C2
8 104/400V Mylar C11, C12, C13, C14, C15, C16, C17, C18
1 473/100V Mylar C5
1 to calculate value based on supply of fan >>> use 1.2K 1/4W for 12V,,,, use
2.4K 1/4W for 24V fan supply R14
1 1K5 / 2W R6
1 680K / 2W R19
4 (all 5W) R1, R2, R3, R4 to calculate values based on OCP relay coil resistance
example, if coil resistance is 1.2k, use 18K/5W resistors for all 4 series
parallel
Note; 2 of them are on top of the others to save space...
2 47R/10W R8, R9
1 5mm LED1
1 Square Type Rectifier, Heavy Duty Diode use for 220V Line (mount on HS)
Others:
1 15A mini Fuse F1
2 Onboard Fuse Holder
1 24VRLY/1.5K ohms Mini Relay
1 Dual Contact Relay (select supply based on your fan ratings)
2 ETD49 Ungapped N87 Material Grade
1 OCP Toroid Trafo Custom Wind 1:20,,, Thick Wire Primary / #22 secondary
Notes:
- print this file on 11 x 17" paper, or if to print on 8.5 x 11 use "snaptool on
pdf" and drag the half portion
then print on 1:1 scale,,, combine through tape those divided portions once
printed.
- R1, R2, R3, R4 must correctly calculate the values based on coil resistance of
relay, 2 of them are
on top of the other two to save space
- the winding orientations of ETD49 from one to another are different from each
other, carefull on placing
them on board once you wound it separately. The common ground wires are passge-
out from trafo itself
just like ATX trafo winding does... see ATX EI33 trafo's on how they physically
constructed.
- OCP requires proper testing / calibration, set first to highly sensitive position
then readjust to desire level.
This toroid trafo must be high grade material also to prevent saturation in the
long run.
- Primary Rectifier Diode must be heavy duty and should be mounted on main Heat
Sink, all terminals must
be securely connected through suitable thick wires.
- Those that requires heavy current must fill with solder on every copper traces.
