Direction: List down the ways with which one can become a good citizen of the nation and
then elaborate your answer on how yourself would do these by answering the process
questions.
Process Questions:
1. How will the country benefit from
what you have listed?
By being a good citizen, it contributes to a generally positive society and as we contribute to
a better society by improving the environment in which we live. This gives everyone a sense of
belonging to a community as well as pride and responsibility for the place they inhabit. This also
serves as a great role model for future generations, encouraging them to follow that example.
Being able to challenge injustice and contribute to promote fairness is an important
component of being a good citizen. One of the advantages of doing so is that it aids public
services. Residents want their neighborhoods to be secure and the judicial system to be fair. If
every citizen works to promote fairness and confront injustice, terrorism will be reduced because
people will not feel left out and will not have negative opinions of others because everyone is
working together. In simple words, unity can be attained.
2. How will you influence other people to become good and active citizens?
An active citizen is someone who is concerned enough about their community to take action to
improve it. It is a responsibility to be a good and active citizen. To influence other people to
become one, I should be set to be a role model and by this, other people will be encouraged to do
so. Volunteering for the community is one of the ways. It is important to give respect to the
rights of others. Caring for the environment is also a way. By simply picking up litters and
throwing them in the right bin is a big help. We should be concerned with the happening around
us to be able to take actions rightfully. In addition to that, it is important to take responsibility of
our actions.
