1. What makes creating a personal brand critical? Explain your side.

Creating a personal brand is crucial nowadays in building business brands. The motivations and
goals that I consider for building my personal brand are the following: (1) I want to be considered
influential, (2) I want to stand out from everyone else, (3) I want to show my skills and knowledge about
my areas of expertise, and lastly, (4) I want to be remarkable. First, when I have built a professional personal
brand, I will become influential. I can gain the trust of the people when it comes to my area of expertise.
Second, If I have established my unique personal brand, then it is possible for me to get remembered easily
by the people since I can stand out from the crowd. Third, through my personal brand, people get to witness
and appreciate the knowledge and skills that I have. And when they acknowledge that, it builds a sense of
connection among them, and I can use that in building a business brand related to my chosen field. Lastly,
If I have successfully created my own brand, I would definitely be remembered by the people because of
the distinctiveness and uniqueness of my personality, credibility, and skills that I have established
previously in my own brand. If I will be building my own business, my personal brand would help me get
popular in the social media, attract potential customers, build a network, and create a promising platform.

2. What is your personal brand? How would you describe it? Explain.

Establishing my personal brand is not an easy task since I have to thoroughly assess my skills and
strengths. Upon shortly evaluating myself, I could say that I best fit in the personal brand that is related to
Science Education for the masses. I am currently a 2nd year BS Biology student, and my greatest strength
as of now is explaining and educating others, through my own platform, the wonders of Science. And since
I am also interested in art (specifically video and photo editing, audio recording), I can combine education
and art to build my personal brand. Since I also have several experiences in leadership and teaching, I might
as well use these skills that I have acquired for me to connect, communicate, and educate others about my
area of expertise. This brand is very relevant today since we're currently in a pandemic, and as much as
possible, we need to get rid of the false information circulating the media. Even without the pandemic, this
brand will still be relevant as Science still continues to grow. This is the primary motivation of my brand.
With that, I can summarize my personal brand as "Science education through the eyes of the masses”.
3. What venture do you want to put up? How will you create a personal brand and relate it to the
venture you want to create?

In relation to my personal brand, I would like to build a digital platform (website and mobile
application) that provides learning tools for a more efficient studying of science courses, which is especially
made for those students who are interested in learning science. We all know that it is a huge challenge for
the students to learn a vast amount of information. With that, the mission of my venture is to offer learning
tools that would help the students master the materials and help them retain their knowledge, so that they
can use these in the future to become professionals in this field, and to be able to serve the people. This
website/application will consist of video-recorded and written lectures which are of high quality, different
assessment techniques, diagrams, and other learning tools. I will design my platform according to the needs
of the Filipino students. I will make sure that this service would be personalized and adaptive, and that the
subscription in this platform would be affordable for everyone. This venture will also be highly relevant
since there is a current growing trend of people getting interested into science-related courses.
