FAQ’s regarding Campus Joining Preference Form

1. Is it mandatory to fill the campus joining preference form?

• Yes

2. What is the last date to fill online offline preference form?

• 5th October 2021.

3. What if I failed to fill preference form till last date?

• Those students who will fail to fill a preference form, their preference shall be taken as online by
default.

4. I have already submitted my preference form, up to which date can I change the preference?
• You can change the preference mode ONLY ONCE by sending email to studentcare@cumail.in
on or before 10th October,2021.

5. If I choose online mode, what shall be the mode of study?

• Classes will be held on blackboard/open platforms, assessments will be done online (BB LMS).

6. What shall be the mode of examination if I opt for online classes?

• The pattern of exam shall be the same as previous semester. However, the students who have
opted online shall not be called at the campus for the exams.

7. If I choose offline mode, will I be able to opt for hostel facility?

• Yes, for the hostel seat booking please refer to the notification issued by DSW.

8. If I choose offline mode, will I be able to opt for transportation facility?

• The option for transport facility option shall be available on CUIMS very soon.

9. What will be the protocol of the campus joining in physical mode?

• The protocol will be notified one week before the start of physical classes.

10. I have paid booking fee of hostel and I want to adjust the fee into the academic fee, to whom should
I contact for fee adjustment?

11. What will be mode of examination if I opt for Offline Mode?
• The pattern of the examination shall remain the same as followed last semester.

12. When I have to report for the hostel and physical classes?
• The hostel reporting schedule is already notified by DSW. Please refer to CUIMS notification.
The physical class commencement date schedule program wise shall be notified soon.

13. If I choose online Mode, how will the attendance of the classes be marked?
• The attendance shall be marked in the similar way as marked for online mode of classes.

14. Do I need to have both vaccination before campus joining?

• First dose of vaccination is mandatory for campus joining and having both doses of vaccination
is recommended.

15. I am below 18 years, what is the protocol for me to join the campus?
• Student below 18 years of age need to produce negative RT-PCR Test results (not later than 72
hours) during the reporting at the campus.
