Section 111 of the Local Government Code (LGC) of 1991 mandates the creation of
the Executive Committee to represent the council and act in its behalf when it is not in
session.

In order to ensure that the decision of the council are faithfully carried out and
implemented, act on matters requiring immediate attention by the council and
formulate policies, plans, and programs based on the general principles laid down by
the council, the Executive Committee conducted its meeting for the
first/second/third/fourth quarter of 2019 at 8:00 am to discuss the following:

Further, Section 112 of the LGC provides that BDC may form sectoral or functional
committees to assist them in the performance of their functions.

In order to provide the BDC with data and information essential to the formulation of
plans, programs and activities and define sectoral objectives, set targets and identify
programs, projects and activities for each sector, the BDC Sectoral/Functional
Committees conducted its meeting for the first/second/third/fourth quarter of 2019
to discuss the following:

Health and sanitation

Education

Agriculture and Environment

Infrastructure

Peace and Order

Finance

Physical Fitness and Sports

Development

Having no other matters to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 12:00 noon.
