Day Wise Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Srinagar
Arrive Srinagar, Pickup and transfer to Houseboat. Rest of day Srinagar Sightseeing. Enjoy the site scene
of the famous places Cheshma Shahi “Royal Spring” Shalimar “Garden of Love” Nishat Garden “Garden
of Pleasure” On return visit a local Handicrafts Emporium for hand-knotted specialty silken carpets,
shawls, jewelry ornaments. Overnight stay Hotel.

Day 2: Srinagar-Sonamarg-Srinagar
Full day excursion to Sonamarg by cars. The distance of about 83 kms will be covered about 2-½ hrs.
Sonamarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonamarg is also the
base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lake. Drive back from Srinagar at the
hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Srinagar-pahalgam
After breakfast drive to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds). The distance of about 96 kms will be covered in
about 3 hrs. Enroute visiting Saffron fields, Awantipura ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built
by King Awantiwareman), see the beautiful countryside on the way and a lot of rice fields. Drive through
the pine forest. Arrive Pahalgam transfer to Hotel. After lunch, have bridle walks and feed your cameras
with the picture of the magnificent view of mountains. Dinner overnight in hotel at Pahalgam

Day 4: Srinagar-Gulmarg
Drive to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be
covered in about 2 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course of
the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view
enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek up to Khilanmarg which
can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs. Chair Lifts for mountain rides are also available. Lunch will be carried
from the Houseboat. Dinner overnight in a Hotel at Gulmarg.

Day 5: Departure
After having breakfast from the Hotel, check out to drive towards Srinagar international Airport/ Railway
station for your onward journey.
