Street Play Description:

Street Play is a way of voicing one's opinion freely in open spaces and further
enact on socially relevant topics and spur the public towards a bigger and a
positive change.

Hence, Pratidhwani (Dramatics Club of World University of Design) brings to you

that golden ticket to transform the world into a stage and create magic!

This time with the Pandemic all around us and being at the receiving end, this
platform becomes all the more important in spreading the social message in this
crucial time.

All you need to do is to bring a lot of zeal and your voice of expression for a social
cause...

Rangshala (Theatre) Description:

Rangshala is a collaborative form of performing art, a platform where live

performers can express and present the experience of a real or an imaginary
event before a live audience in a specific place, often a stage. The performers may
communicate this experience to the audience through combinations of gesture,
speech, song, music and dance or any form of expression.

With the Corona phase that all of us are going through at the moment, it becomes
all the more important with a responsibility in the hands of the performers to
bring a smile on the audiences' faces through the online platform.

Events:

1. Street Play Details--Since we are going to organize it online this time, there are
a few modifications in the rules of the Street Play Competition.

The participants will have to send a compiled video which can extend up to 10
minutes, the file has to be an MP4 with an original slogan. We are also restricting
the number of members of a team to 8 for better co-ordination with an original
story line of the video. Rest remains the same.

2. Theatre (Rangshala) Details - Solo act or acts in groups of 2 or 3 which can

include cinematic video, Mime, Stand Up Comedy, Monologue, Rap and Beat
boxing.

The participants will have to send a compiled video which can extend up to 10
minutes depending upon the act, the file has to be an MP4. We are also
restricting the number of members of a team to 3 in the group acts category for
better co-ordination. Rest remains the same.

Rules and Regulations

• Negative marking for exceeding the time limit

• Vulgarity in form of meaning, dialogues or actions is strictly forbidden
• The teams shall arrange props for themselves
