ORDER:-

The Committee constituted by the Government in the Finance and Planning

Department for making recommendations for larger delegation of powers to all Heads of
Departments under the provisions of A.P.F.C.F.E., etc., has made certain
recommendations for delegation of power to heads of departments other than those under
Transport, Road and Buildings Department, major projects and the Irrigation and power
department. Enhanced powers have been delegated in G.O. Ms. No. 1007, TR&B, dt. 5-
11-1976 in respect of a number of items to the officers of Irrigation and power, roads and
buildings and major projects departments. The committee referred to above besides
making recommendations for delegations of powers to heads of departments in general,
in respect of specify items, has recommended delegation of financial powers to heads of
departments in respect of a few general items. Government in Transport, Roads and
Buildings Department to the officers of roads and buildings department in G.O. read
above. The Chief Engineer/Major Irrigation and general has requested to the
Government for delegation of powers on the lines on which the orders were issued, in the
case of roads and buildings department.

2. The Government sanction the delegation of financial powers to the officers of

Irrigation and power department as detailed in the “Annexure to this order.

3. This order issue with the concurrence of Finance & Planning (PW) Department
vide their U.O. No. 93197-D/1850/SPF/75, dt. 4-8-76 and U.O.No. 20689/214/SPF, dt.
18-3-78.
