16-20. A motorist drives for 3 hrs. at 150 km/hr., 3 hrs. at 120 km/hr. and for 3 hrs.
at 90 km/hr. What is the average speed of the motorist?

21-25. A sliding door weighs 148.6 kg with a force of 48kg applied horizontally. The
door hangs from two frictionless rollers. What is the acceleration of the door in m/s 2?

26-30. The track of a cosmic ray particle in a photographic emulsion is found

empirically to be described by the expression r = (3t3 - 6t)i + (5 - 8t4)j. Determine the
velocity and acceleration.

roof of a speeding truck passing beneath him. The distance he will fall from rest to the
roof of the truck is 12 m, and the truck is moving 80 km/h. What horizontal distance
away should the truck be when the stunt man jumps?
