Peer pressure is when you do something you would not otherwise do because you want to feel

accepted and valued by your friends. I agree that teenagers are easily affected by peer pressure
because they are in the same age group, they need to feel appreciated and they spend most of their
time with their peers.

First and foremost, they are from the same age group. This is because they share the same
experiences, interests and problems together. For example, they always do everything in commons
together such as hanging out, playing sports and clubbing together. In sum, they are easily affected
by peer pressure because they are from the same age group.

Secondly, they always want to feel appreciated by others. This thing can happen when they are
lack of support from their parents or teachers. So, they were hoping to get support from their peers
that understand them more. For example, they show their support by painting the wall with the
graffiti on the streets. Thus they are easily affected by the peer pressure because they need to feel
appreciated.

Thirdly, they always spend more times with their friend outside than spend their time with their
family. This is because they are easily influenced and appreciated by the peers they spend time with.
For example, they learned how to be a bully and bullying other that are innocent. Hence, they are
easily affected by peer pressure because they spend more time together.

In conclusion, parents and teachers need to watch out their kids and students because they are
easily influenced by their peers. Therefore, they always want to try something new with their peers
and do something bad. Parents and teachers have to teach them to pick a good friend and guide
them to be a better person.
