recovery boiler and 105TPH coal fired boiler.

G. Calculation of daily energy report plant wise and updating in sap.

As Electrical Plant Engineer


 Responsible for analyzing & reducing the incidence of breakdowns and develop strategies to improve overall
reliability and safety of plant.
 Responsible for the routine maintenance of all equipment & machinery.
 Responsible for machine condition analyzing and condition monitoring of equipment.
 Responsibility involves maintenance of motors, starters, drives, transformers, switchgear, UPS, battery chargers,
lifts, hoists, EOT’s, compressors, rewinders, sheet cutters and other auxiliary equipment.
Rewinders of Jagenberg & Serveall make, SHEET CUTTERS of Massion Scott, Jagenberg, will Pemco make.
 Maintaining and handling of total 5 No’s (OVER MECANICA, VOITH, JESSOP) of paper Machines having total
capacity of 500 TPD.
 Spares management and planning.
 Development and modification of equipment’s and utilities as per process requirement.
 Reporting day to day activities to DGM Electrical.
 Preparation of Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports.
 Responsible for Implementation of safety work permit system, LOTO, PPE policy and OHSAS.
 Maintaining database of plant’s shutdowns breakdowns and preventive maintenance schedules in SAP.
 Identifying the critical jobs which should be attended during annual outage and planning accordingly.
 RCFA/Breakdown analysis (WWW analysis) being done for the repetitive breakdowns

Highlights:
 100TPD rewinder having ABB make ACS 800 Drives and AC 800 PLC. And retrofit of 80TPD
rewinder having two 110kw DC motors with ABB DCS 800 digital drives.
 ESP-3 for recovery boiler consisting of 5 fields with controllers, auto motorized rapping
system, ABB make 630kw ac motor for ID FAN with ACS 800 drive, 0.8MVA 415/690v
transformer.
 Installation of 20KVA, 10KVA, 6KVA Emerson ups and Amar raja battery charger in different
plants mill wide.
 Retrofit of overhead cranes from starters to Schneider Altivar71 drives.
 With the knowledge of digital drives changed the analog drives with Siemens 6RA70 drive.
 Relays up gradation from electromagnetic to microprocessor for feeder protection.

requirements, monitoring overall project operations and ensuring timely completion

make, ACS880)

 11KV DBB panel had been installed with REF615 relays(16 feeders) for feeder backup protection
purpose

 Replaced 132KV HT Control and relay panels at 132KV Sub-station

 Upgraded standalone ACS 800 & ACS550 drives with ACS880 & ACS580 drive modules

 Coal fired boiler ACS800 multi drive panel replaced with ACS880, 04XT drive panel

 Erected & commissioned 110V, 25A FC & FCBC, Amara Raja make battery charger and 220V,40A
dual FCBC, Chloride make battery charger

 34MW TG, single channel Unitrol-F, AVR controller panel had been replaced with dual channel,
Unitrol-6080 AVR panel

 Erection & commissioning of 100TPD rewinder with ACS880 Drives and AC800M controller

 Erection & commissioning of 100TPD rewinder having two ABB make 150HP AC motors with ACS
800 Drives, AC800M controller and Baldor make servo drive with motors

 Retrofitted of 80TPD rewinder having two 110KW DC motors with ABB DCS 800 digital drives and
AC800M PLC

 Erected& commissioned Recovery boiler, ESP-3 had consisting of 5 fields with controllers, auto
motorized rapping system and ABB make 630KW AC motor for ID fan with ACS 800 drive
 Retrofit of overhead cranes from starters to Schneider-Altivar71drives

 Reduced 50 units per hour by replacing higher KW motors with lower KW motors and installing
capacitors with series reactors at MCC panels

panels

 Erection & commissioning of Emerson make UPS (6KVA, 10KVA, 20KVA & 40KVA)
