Today begins Red Ribbon Week! This week commemorates the kidnapping and
death of Drug Enforcement Agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena. His friends and
neighbors wore red ribbons in his honor to show they would continue his fight
against illegal drugs. The symbol of the red ribbon reminds us to live a safe and
drug-free life—and choose to be a person of good character. Remember, your
future is Key so stay Drug Free!

Each day this week is a different dress up theme for Red Ribbon Week. Today is
Be Happy, Be Brave, Be Drug Free! Dress like your hero or favorite superhero.
