AUDITION  INFORMATION
 One  Major  Scale  of  your  choice  ascending  and  descending
 One  Minor  Scale  (Harmonic  version).    Middle  School  band  students  
may  be  excluded  from  playing  the  minor  scale
 Chromatic  Scale  ascending  and  descending  with  the  range  as  far  as  possible  at  the  various  levels  of  
proficiency
 Short  sight-reading  excerpts  
 Short  excerpt  from  an  etude  or  solo  the  student  has  prepared.

This  is  a  suggested  list  of  materials  for  use  in  private  lesson  instruction.    You  may  want  to  bring  one  instruction  book  and  one  
solo  to  work  on.    However,  materials  you  bring  DO  NOT  need  to  be  from  this  list.    This  is  only  a  suggestion.
