Level of Satisfaction in Online Learning Experienced by Civil Engineering Students of

Father Saturnino Urios University, A.Y. 2020-2021

Terms defined conceptually:

Face-to-face (F2F) classes. These refer to an instructional method where the course content
and learning material are taught in-person to a group of students.

Neo Learning Management System. It is a learning management system (LMS) that helps
schools manage and create all classroom activities, such as creating and delivering
educational content, assessing students, tracking their results, and promoting communication
and collaboration between students and teachers/faculty.

Online Learning. It is a form of education in which the main elements include physical
separation of teachers and students during instruction and the use of various technologies to
facilitate student-teacher and student-student communication.

Undergrads. These are students at a college or university who have not yet earned a
bachelor's or equivalent degree.

Terms defined operationally:

Satisfactions. These refer to the social, cognitive, and teaching presence as being essential to
the students' learning experience in online learning.

School activities involvement. These refer to the institutional and organizational activities
in the Father Saturnino Urios University.

Teacher-student relationship. This refers to the academic relationship between teachers

and students; the level of closeness both parties shared from each other in online learning to
strengthen academic achievements.
