Experiment No :- 10

Object :- A case study of charge sheet in spinning mills.


Definition:- Charge sheet is a legal document which is secured by management of a
concern to an employee who has done something which he is not supposed to do during
his working hours. The person charge sheet is required to give his or her
implementation for the conduct he has done and after this energy is made to take in the
following matter.

Following are the circumference in which worker charge sheeted.

1. Will full disobedience of order weather alone or in combination with other.


2. Thefts & dishonesty is connecting with the employee, business or property.
3. Willful damage to employers’ property.
4. Habitual absence without leave or late attendance.
5. Taking or giving briber.
6. Negligence to work.
7. Striking illegally or inciting other to go on strike.
8. Arousing & assaulting any supervisor or co-worker.
9. Sleeping while on duty.
10. Habitual repetition of any act.

Case Study:-
Person charge sheeted:- Hamnarayan S/o Sudai Shah

Dept.:- R/f, Shift: - A

Charge sheet dated:- 22/2/13

Charge sheet was issued to Hamnarayan account of complain filled by another worker
Ramesh Singh. He accused when Hamnarayan of refusing to do this work & hitting him
on hand with head due to which he serious hand injuries. So the charge sheet was
issued to Hamnarayan by GM (PLA) TILTS mills. Asking him to defend himself replying
within 4 hours& recovering the charge sheet.
Hamnarayan received the charge sheet & confessed the crime done by him. He pleaded
for beating & assured that such thing will not be repeated in future.
After his reply the enquiry committee found Hamnarayan guilty. As it was his first
offence so mill management acted softly & let him warning that such acts in future will
result in strong action by them against him.

1. Publication of works time:- The period and hours of work for all classes will be
exhibited on notice boards maintenance near the entrance of establishment.
2. Publication of holidays & per days.
3. Publication of wage rate.
4. Attendance & late coming:- all workman shall be at work at fixed time & any
works attending late will liable to the education provided for in the payment of
wages.
5. National & festival holidays & sick leave.
6. All work man shall be paid wages on the fired day.
7. Disciplinary action for miss conduct.
8. The managers of establishments shall be personally held responsible for faith.

FACTORY ACT 1948:-


Objective:-

(1) To regulate working condition in factory.


(2) To ensure that the basic minim requirement for the health & workplace of the
workman are provided.
(3) To regulate working hours, holidays etc.

Obligation of employs:-

1. Approval of the state government for the site on which factory is to be situated.
2. To get the factory registered obtaining a license to link it.
3. Notice of change of manger should be submitted incentive.
4. To prove health measures.
5. To undertake safety measures.
6. To set working hours, holiday & overtime & wages.
7. To display notice, maintain, register etc.
8. To provide welfare amplifies etc.
