Ancient Egyptian art refers to the works done between 6000 B.C. up to
600 A.D., thus being up to more than 8,000 years ago. Many historians, art
connoiseurs, and people from all walks of life have been, and remain,
fascinated by the art of ancient Egypt. There are many museums in Europe
and the US which house precious artifacts and works of art that show the
array of brilliant colors and geometric forms characteristic of the art. The
colors red, blue, gold, and green outlined in black in their paintings remain LE
as vivid as they were thousands of years ago. Indeed, these colors were
chosen since the Egyptians knew that lighter shades would fade under the
strong sunlight in their part of the world. Their subjects were pharaohs or

rulers, soldiers at war, animals, and plants.
