Climate Change: An existential threat to the planet.

Climate change is one of the greatest challenges to the Planet. It has been changing the weather of the
globe with a much faster rate by increasing the average temperature of earth. There are the various
reasons that contribute to climate change. The natural disasters and anthropogenic activities are the
major drivers of the change. On the one hand, the volcanic eruptions, changing position of the rays
Reaching at the surface of the earth, the forest fires and On the other hand, the man made activities
such as carbon emission in the atmosphere, industrial pollution, deforestation, urbanization and burning
of fossils are the major actors contributing towards climate change. Resultantly, the globe is facing
serious repercussions in the shape of water crisis, food crisis, devastation of ecosystems, frequent
changing weather patterns, disastrous health crisis, and entrenched energy crisis. However, Most of the
countries of the world have been taking the precautionary and reactive Measures to counter this very
threat to the life. But, unfortunately, they’ve failed to curb the long-lasting effects of the climate change.
It would not be off the way to say that the humanity is on its on its knees in front of this cataclysmic
challenge. Thus, the planet earth is in a serious threat, calling for the frequent and possible measures for
her survival. Otherwise, it would be foolish to cry over spilt milk.
