The new Rinnai Sapphire Gas Log Flame Fire. This stylish and versatile fire has been specifically designed with installation flexibility
in mind.

Whether for an existing masonry fireplace, a new fireplace for renovations or new homes or simply replacing an old wood fire, there
are inbuilt and freestanding Sapphire options designed to enhance the feel of any living area.

With its double glazed fascia and its warm and inviting flames, this elegant gas log flame fire is well suited to both traditional
environments or modern homes. Offering a host of advanced features such as optional timers, it also boasts a high efficiency and a
large heating capacity.

Sapphire Models
Inbuilt Models
The Sapphire is available in two inbuilt versions designed to suit both replacement and new applications.
Existing Masonry Fireplaces
With its shallow depth, the innovative design of the Sapphire
fits into almost all existing masonry fireplaces. In addition, no
flueing is necessary when installing into a sound masonry
fireplace – saving on both cost and valuable time during
installation. We recommend that your installer inspect your
chimney’s suitability prior to installation.
Freestanding Models
There are two freestanding designs available, designed to suit both traditional and more modern room designs.
Console (Floor Mounted) option
This freestanding design has a more contemporary feel with
the unit simply resting on a same size base. This symmetrical
design is perfect for more modern decors. With bevelled
corners on the rear of the firebox, this unit is also highly suited
to corner installations.
New False Fireplace Installations (Zero Clearance)
Through the use of a separately purchased Zero Clearance
Box, the Sapphire can be installed virtually anywhere. This Box
enables the construction of a false or mock fireplace without
the necessity of bricks - allowing flexibility for installations
against any wall in any room of the home
Freestanding plinth option
A traditional freestanding gas log flame fire design with the
unit resting on an elevated plinth. This design emulates

the classic wood fire heaters of old, and is ideal for their
replacement or simply to create the traditional look & feel.

Purchasing your Sapphire

Your Rinnai stockist will be able to assist you with the correct selection, however below is an overview of how each fire is supplied:
With each Sapphire model, the main fire and the external surround (fascia) are ordered and supplied separately. Additionally, other
components are also supplied separately, depending on the model selected.

Inbuilt - existing fireplaces No additional components usually required. Optional flexiliner flueing if chimney is not sound
Inbuilt - false fireplaces Additional Zero Clearance Box & flue components depending on the installation location
Freestanding - floor mounted Additional Console Kit & flue components depending on the installation location
Freestanding - with plinth Additional Plinth Kit & flue components depending on the installation location
