JANA: Good Morning! Welcome to…
JANA AND ELEE: The world today!!

ELEE: Today we have here Dr. Zita and Dr. Hernandez

JANA: they are one of those who participated actively on the approval for COVID-19
vaccine which will be further discuss later on.
ELEE: Hi Good Morning!
ZITA: Good morning to you too!
HERNANDEZ: Good morning!
JANA: We heard the news about the vaccine being mandatory. May I ask why?
HERNANDEZ: The Vaccine is really something we all need now, especially with the variants
which can easily spread the virus quicker. The vaccine will help us prevent having more intense
symptoms, for example the COVID-19 can target the lungs but if you had been injected with the
vaccine it can help stop that and have no symptoms to mild symptoms. So, getting the vaccine
can really help decrease the number of cases which is why it is mandatory.
ELEE: But why is there cases of deaths after getting the vaccine?
ZITA: Because the vaccine that have been injected may have been too strong for their immunity
to handle. Most of those cases I have heard that dies because of the vaccine are ages 60 and
above. For example, senior citizens with underlying illnesses.
JANA: Some people have low pain tolerance; can we drink painkiller medicines for the side
effects after getting the COVID vaccine?
HERNANDEZ: No Because the vaccine can be put to waste if we will drink painkillers. The pain
is most likely tolerable depending on how strong your immunity is and how your body reacts to
the vaccine, especially those who have allergies and underlying illnesses.
ELEE: Can the first dose and second dose be 2 different vaccines?
ZITA: Yes, it can give a stronger anti-bodies, but this is not applicable to all people. It might be
too strong for some people and can be okay for some. Also depending on which vaccines will
be mixed and matched. Let’s all be aware about our past and current illnesses and allergies.
JANA: Is the COVID-19 vaccine safe for breastfeeding women?
HERNANDEZ: Yes, they are a part of the priority list. The vaccine won’t cause any problem on
pregnant women and breastfeeding women. The vaccine is safe, won’t cause infection and the
vaccine can even help prevent the baby from getting the virus as well.
ELEE: That’s it for today’s talk show, thank you so much for certainly providing us answers to
our questions. We appreciate your time on giving out information about COVID-19 vaccine
which helps everyone to know exactly what we needed.
HERNANDEZ: It is indeed our pleasure for the safety of all.
JANA: If you want to know and ask for more details regarding the vaccine, you may visit our
