This assignment is worth 10 percent of your combined mark for Units 1 and 2.

Requirements

You need to investigate any relevant, Univariate Data topic and collect 50 data points from
students at SIC.

You will present your work in a report of not less than 1,000 words (not including diagrams,
tables, graphs and references). Your report should follow the statistical investigation process
outlined in Chapter 5 of the student book.

Finally, regardless of the other work done in the investigation, if it appears that the data has
been copied or simply made up, the investigation will be given zero mark. The zero mark will
stand unless the student can demonstrate the source of the data or redo the work with
genuine data. You will be required to sign a document promising the authenticity of your work.
