Is there a significant relationship between senior citizen socio-economic profile and the
level of leadership of women leaders?

Table 4 shows the relationship between the senior citizen socio-economic profile and the level of
leadership of women leaders. Using the Chi-square and the level of significance at 0.05, it reveals that
the socio-economic profile of the senior citizens is not significantly related to the level of leadership of
women leaders since the p-values are greater than the level of significance. Therefore, the null
hypothesis is not rejected.

The data indicates that senior citizen’s economic profile and the level of leadership of women
leaders is not correlated. This means that, regardless of their differences, they still manage to live in
unity.

Participant observations and stories indicated that independent schools were shown to be a
microcosm of the greater United States society preventing equity and inclusion from happening due to
the cycle of socialization (Harro, 2013). Helms’s (1990) White racial identity development theory
provides a possible framework for understanding independent schools. This study contributes to the
literature on independent schools by providing a multiracial female leader’s perspective and to the
literature on professional women of color in leadership as it adds the unique viewpoint of multiracial
females (Julie Puanani, 2018).

Table 5 shows the relationship between relationship between senior citizens’ socio-economic profile
and their assessment. Using the Chi-square and the level of significance at 0.05, it reveals that the
senior citizens’ socio-economic profile and their assessment is not significantly since the p-values are
greater than the level of significance. Therefore, the null hypothesis is not rejected.

The data implies that senior citizens are neutral in assessing their women leaders so they can prevent
biases. Senior citizens did not consider any of it whether their women leader is rich or not, educated
or not, young or old, or may have the same religion as theirs. They see-through the fact as to the kind
of leadership that their women leaders possess, and that’s what people should need.

This study is about women leaders in the Belizean society, and the way a few of them were able to
overcome cultural, gender, traditional, political, and societal barriers. Eight women were purposefully
selected to participate in this study. Of the eight women selected, four were potentially at-risk which,
within the context of this study, was defined as not being able to complete high school in a traditional
setting, becoming pregnant as an adolescent, and having limitations due to financial hardship. The
remaining four participants were never at-risk in their adolescence (Amelia Williams, 2009).

Problem 6. Is there a significant relationship between the level of leadership of women leaders and
senior citizens’ assessment?

Problem 6: Is there a significant relationship between the level of leadership of women leaders and
senior citizens’ assessment?

Table 6 shows the relationship between the level of leadership of women leaders and senior citizens’
assessment. Using the Chi-square and the level of significance at 0.05, it reveals that the level of
leadership of women leaders is not significantly related to the senior citizens’ assessment since the p-
values are greater than the level of significance. Therefore, the null hypothesis is not rejected.

The data implies that senior citizens did not consider their personal life into giving assessment to their
women leaders. They don’t feel it as barrier in accepting their women leaders as to what they are
capable of.

Female leadership matters. All other considerations aside, it results in better performance. Studies
have shown that companies with greater gender diversity, not just among the workforce as a whole
but specifically among senior leaders, are more profitable. So, the answer to the question “why is
women’s leadership important in our world?”, the answer is simple: it gives us better results (Joanna
Martin,2014).
