The focused TECAR / PULSE combination reduces pain and frees up
movement in joint mobilization exercises.

Thanks to its all-in-one electrode, R-SHOCK enables two types of

current to be applied simultaneously. The TECAR energy is divided
into several heating points for a deep, focused and targeted action.
The PULSE mode provides pain relief by saturating the nociceptors.

MANAGING THE SYMPTOMS OF DIFFERENT CONDITIONS

Some conditions are very painful (e.g. tennis elbow) and the pain is even
more severe during certain movements or upon palpation.
The skin can be red, swollen and hot due to inflammation. The
physiotherapist therefore needs to achieve an analgesic effect in order to
be able to treat the patient by reducing the pain threshold.
In this context, R-SHOCK is literally a lethal weapon.
Thanks to the possibility of using both TECAR energy and PULSE mode –
either simultaneously or alternately – R-SHOCK can complement the entire
treatment session.
The practitioner can obtain an analgesic effect with the PULSE + mode by
saturating the nociceptors, or work on revascularization by mixing TECAR
energy and PULSE mode.
It’s also possible to use TECAR energy alone, which provides clinical
benefits for acute and chronic inflammation, offering instant pain relief.

The physiotherapist can then set about restoring the patient’s mobility by

This painless release of movement allows the therapist to combine TECAR
energy with manual techniques (e.g. deep transversal massage) and focus on
the tendon injury in order to accelerate tissue healing.
During the session, the patient will benefit from therapeutic massage and
mobilization accompanied by a controlled and very comfortable heat. The speed
of treatment offered thanks to R-SHOCK frees up more session time for the
practitioner to perform manual practice or mobilization. The biological actions
of TECAR energy revascularize targeted tissues.
This treatment will enable the patient to return to normal activity more

Treating tendinopathies
For all types of tendinopathies (de Quervain’s tenosynovitis, Achilles tendinopathy,
tendonitis and tenosynovitis of the finger flexors...), R-SHOCK has an anti-
inflammatory action and a positive on tissue healing through stimulation of fibroblasts
