COMMUNICATION
- Communication is a continuous process. It has no beginning and end. We can think
of communication as a result of a previous communication event that leads to
another communication situation. It is a process of sharing information, ideas,
emotions, and such through interacting with its receiver. It can be verbal, which
refers to the use of words to convey a message, and non-verbal communication
refers to the transfer of information through body language that includes eye contact,
facial expressions, gestures, and more. Moreover, communication is a bridge of
meaning through listening, telling, and understanding of messages the sender wants
to convey. Therefore, we can collect new knowledge and use it to share it with
others.
CULTURE
- Culture refers to the knowledge systems that a relatively large group of people share
that meet their daily needs. It is dynamic yet adaptive. It is a process where we can
learn it from school, family, peers, and media. Hence, we can adapt it
subconsciously. Culture serves as our foundation to continue interacting with other
individuals. Moreover, it can be express as material culture, which refers to any
tangible things we can touch these are: arts, buildings, monuments, and non-material
culture refers to the abstract ideas, mores, beliefs, language that we face since the
beginning. It includes societal aspects: norms, customs, language, values, beliefs,
etc. that enhances the relationship and interaction between individuals.
SOCIETY
- When individuals continue to interact society is form. The society is a group of
people who have different identities, lifestyles, races, religions, and so on. Society is
the common home for all who live within it. One of the best examples of human
society is the neighborhood. Families living next to us may be of different races or
religions, but we all share the same platform, same space, and same territory to live
on, and thus we form a society. Society refers to a group of families who live in the
same territory and share almost every emotion related to happiness, sadness, and
much more by lending their hands to help each other.
