    Inspiration

    This year in Ms. Lummus class we will incorporate the award-winning


    book The Giving Tree into our classroom. This story portrays quite a few
    of things. It shows that being selfish never has great results. In our
    classroom we want to be team players and never take anyone for
    granted or “use up all their limbs”. At the end of the book, it explained
    how the old man was tired and the tree said that it had nothing else
    for the boy to use and the boy says, just a seat on your trunk is
    enough for me. You never know how much you can help someone even
    if it is small. When you think you are nothing, you are always Let’s READ
    something to someone
