Dear Commissioner Oliver,

I am writing regarding the enclosed letter sent from our constituent, William Rohan. Mr. Rohan
raises several points of concern, particularly the potential diinger posed by the fuel truck and
anyone smoking cigarettes near it.

Productions should consider it a privilege and not a right to film in Greenpoint, as well as all
other communities in the five boroughs. It is deeply troubling to me that aproduction crew
would flagrantly ignore basic safety precautions. I would also consider it neglectful and
disrespectful for a production to fail to completely fill out and post the required permits, if that is
indeed what happened in this case.

I would appreciate it if you would investigate the concerns enumerated in the original letter and
let me know what follow-up.actign can be taken to prevent.these offenses from happening again.
