Rating: Hi,

(0) I suggest you check first two points:

1 - Acesspoint of application in the connection definition should match with
PG/PC interface.
2 - PLC/HMIcommunication definition shoud macht with PLCSim
communiction channel

i.e: if you define that the HMI will use Ethernet to communicate with PLC,
then use PLCSIM(TCP); if STEP7 5.4 communicate with PLCSim ok the
Acesspoint of application in the HMIconnection definition should be
S7ONLINE.

hi dani, i have real plc (s71200), i try to test my HMI but doesn't work, i can do "download to
device" it work (so, no problem with the connection?) my wincc adv also opened, but when i
try to click HMI button nothing happened, i just give 1 input as pushbutton (start) and 1
output as motor. at the "pushbutton events" i gave "press & realese" with the "start" plc
tags.

*PG/PC Interface => ethernet tcp/ip

*wincc advance
*device "IE General"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Split from Can not make connection between hmi simulation and plcsim.

Closed cause question posted twice.

The second thread with the subject When trying to click HMI button nothing
happened is published within the conference SIMATIC WinCC (TIA Portal).
