1. Discuss briefly why Losartan (Bepsar) and Metropolol (Lopressor) were given to Fely.

Losartan (Bepsar) was given to Fely to lower her blood pressure. She was advised to take 50 mg of this medication once a day. An emergency drug called
Metropolol (Lopressor) was also given to her in case sudden spike of blood pressure happen. This drug should only be taken when needed because it can lower blood
pressure too much.

When a woman is pregnant, her body produces more blood to support the growth of her baby. Susan was given iron to help her body make enough
blood that she and her baby needs during pregnancy. This can also prevent her from having anemia. Folic acid was given to her because it can aid in baby’s
growth and development and helps to prevent serious birth defects. For Susan to prevent night blindness, Vitamin A was given to her. This is also to help
build her baby’s immune system and to have a health skin and eyes.
