Geniş zamanı, her gün yaptığımız günlük aktivitelerden ve alışkanlıklardan

bahsederken kullanırız.
Positive

Geniş zamanda olumlu cümlede özne “I, you, we, they” ise fiile herhangi bir
ek gelmez.
Geniş zamanda olumlu cümlede özne “He, she, it” ise fiile “-s” takısı gelir.
Eğer özne “he, she it” ise sonu “ch, o, sh, ss, x” ile bitenlerde “es” takısı
gelir.
Go => goes brush=> brushes watch=> watches

Eğer özne “he, she it” ise, sonu sessiz + “y” harfi ile bitenlerde de y düşer
“ies” gelir.
Study => studies

Have fiilinin özel durumu vardır. 3. Tekil şahıslarda “s” takısı almaz. “Has”
olarak kullanılır.
