“Luha Ng Buwaya” by Amando V. Hernandez

Luha ng buwaya is a literary work under the novel, it was Originally published in
1974. It discusses the oppression of the poor by affluent families and how such
poor people united to solve their problems.
The novel presents the feudal system represented by Donya Leona and Don Severo
Grande, who owned vast tracts of land in Sampilong. The couple used their money,
influence, and power to rotate and corrupt institutions such as the court, church,
and government while maintaining their interests. And I choose this because the
fact that this novel is the definition of what’s happening right know, whenever a
crisis appears it’s the poor families that always suffering the most while the lavish
families enjoy it the most by means of taking advantage of them either using
currency or by influence.
