BOILER FEED PUMP

BFP Start Permissive:-

1) Feeder Remote Selected should be High.

2) Feeder Trip Signal should be Low.

3) Feeder control Signal Healthy it should be high.

4) Local JB Emergency PB should be Low (Status green).

5) No Run Time error.

6) FST Level should be > 1500 mmwc.

7) Suction Strainer DP < 600 mmwc.

8) BFP Manual Suction Valve Should be open. (Status green).

9) BFP Lube oil Pump Should be Running.

10) LO PR DOWN STRM FLTR >1.4 KG/CM2.

11) SCOOP SHOULD BE ON M IN . DEMAND APPROX. 32% SET POINT.

BFP Trip Interlock:-

1) If Feeder Trip Signal High.

2) If Run FB Low in Running.

3) If FST level =< 800 mmwc.

4) If Feeder or Local JB Emergency pressed.

5) IF Suction Strainer DP =>5000mmwc with 3600 second delay.

6) If Pump NDE or DE Vibration become 7mm/s( alarm-5mm/s) WITH 2 Sec DELAY

7) If Motor winding temperature (2OO3 of 9 no’s. winding temperature) => 120 deg.
WITH 2 SEC DELAY( Alarm – 105deg).

8) If any pump NDE or DE, Bearing temperature (out of 2 Nos.) => 90 deg. WITH 2 Sec
DELAY ( Alarm – 80 deg).

9) IF M OTOR NDE OR DE TEMPERATURE B EARING TEMPERATURE (ANY ONE OUT OF 2 NOS.) =


> 95 DEG. 0C (alarm 90 deg). With 2 Sec DELAY
10) IF VOITH TEMPERATURE ( ANY ONE OUT OF 6 NOS.) => 105 DEG. C ,WITH 2 SEC DELAY
( ALARM 95 DEG).

11) IF FST LEVEL LOLO SWITCH LSLL 1003 ACTED

12) IF WORKING OIL TEMPERATURE SCOOP TUBE O/L > 110 DEG. 0 C ( ALARM 100 DEG)

13) IF WORKING OIL TEMPERATURE COOLER O/L > 80 DEG. 0C ( ALARM 70 DEG)

14) LO HEADER PR T RANSMITTER < 1.45 KG/CM2

BFP AUTO START:-

1. AUTO SELECTED.

2. When running BFP OFF.

3. WHEN FEED WATER PRESSURE =< 100 KG/CM2.

Lube Oil Pump of BOILER FEED PUMP

Start Permissive:-

1) Remote Selected FB should be high.

2) Trip feedback should be Low.

AUTO START:-

1. LUBE OIL PR PS-1054A SWITCH ACTED.

AUTO STOP:-

1. LUBE OIL PR PS-1053A SWITCH ACTED.

2. MANUAL STOP.
ID FAN A&B Trip Interlock
ID FAN A &B Start Permissive:-

1) Feeder should be remote selected From DCS

2) Trip feedback should not be HIGH.

3) Drive Healthy should be HIGH.

4) Run time error should be LOW.

5) ID FAN Inlet & Outlet Damper Closed.

6) IDFAN Speed min Demand < 2rpm..

7) Emergency PB should be released; it should be (high).

ID FAN A & B Trip/Alarm Interlock:-

1) Run time error is high ( when on FB low in Running Condition).

2) If Furnace draft becomes < = -100 MMWC with 15 sec delay.

3) If any one VIB becomes >=7mm/s Alarm will came.

4) Motor Winding temparature (Alarm – 120 deg ) , trip >150 deg (2OO3 LOGIC)

5) FAN & MOTOR Bearing temperature ( alarm - 100 deg), TRIP>120 DEG, with 4
sec delay.

FD FAN A&B
FD FAN A &B Start Permissive:-

1) Feeder should be Remote selected From DCS.

2) Trip feedback should not be HIGH.

3) Drive Healthy should be high.

4) Runtime error should be low.

5) Any one ID fan should be running.

6) FD FAN speed set point should be <2%.

7) FD FAN outlet damper should be closed.

8) Emergency should be released; it should be (high).


FD FAN A&B Trip Interlock:-

1) If Trip signal from feeder is high.

2) Drive healthy is Low.

3) Runtime error is High.

4) Both ID Fans Stopped.

5) Preferential trip ( ID Fan B Trip FD Fan A will Trip).

6) If furnace pressure is High (>+80) delay 15 sec.

7) If any one vib becomes >=12mm/s (Alarm >7mm/s) after 10 sec delay.

8) If Bearing temperature > 120 deg ( Alarm 100 deg) with delay of 4 sec.

9) if Winding temperature>150 deg ( Alarm 120 deg) with delay of 2 sec.

PA FAN A&B
PA FAN A &B Start Permissive:-

1) Feeder should be Remote selected from DCS.

2) Trip Feedback should be low

3) Drive Healthy should be High.

4) Runtime error should be low

5) Inlet valve should be closed(<2%)

6) Boiler not tripped.

7) Speed Set point should be less than 2

8) Outlet damper should be closed

9) Emergency PB should be released from LPBS


PA FAN A &B Trip Interlock:-

1) If Trip signal from feeder is high.

2) Drive Healthy should be Low.

3) Boiler Trip.

4) Motor & Fan bearing temperature> 120 deg ( alarm – 100 deg) with 2 sec delay.

5) If winding temperature > 150 ( alarm – 120 deg ) with 2 sec delay.

6) If emergency is pressed from LPBS

MILL INTERLOCKS
START PERMISSIVE:

1) Feeder should be remote selected.

2) Trip signal should be Low.

3) Healthy signal should be High.

4) Runtime error should be low.

5) Gear box Cooler O/L Pressure Low switch should be High (delay 60 sec).

6) Mixed air flow to mill>2 TPH.

7) Mill O/L Valves should be Open.

8) Seal Air Pressure switch should be High(>880 MMWC).

9) Mill Group Oil Flame(2/3) should be High.

TRIP INTERLOCK:

1) If Run time error should be low

2) If Lube oil Pressure switch (PALL6511A,B,C,D) line becomes low or when both
LOP off (delay 10sec because its taking 10sec for GB LOP pumps to change over
from present to standby)

3) If Mixed air flow < 2 TPH WITH 5 sec delay.

4) Seal air pressure < 200mmwc 2 sec delay.

5) If Boiler Trip signal is High.


6) Any one Mtr NDE/DE/ >90deg(Alarm >80) with 5 Sec delay ,winding temp >100
deg (Alarm >90)with 5 Sec delay ,GB DE/NDE >90 deg (Alarm >80)10 sec.delay.

7) Mill O/L Temperature > 100 deg(Alarm >70) with 5 Sec delay.

8) Flame Sensors OFF(2 Out Of 3)

COAL FEEDER
START PERMISSIVE:

1. Feeder should be remote selected.

2.Trip signal should be High.

3 . Run time error should be low.

4. Concern mill should be ON (delay 60 sec).

5. Speed Set point should be low( below 2%).

TRIP INTERLOCK:

1. If Run time Error Acted.

2. If coal flame not ok in 60 second.

3. If Mill Trip.

4. If Boiler Trip.

Coal feeder C will trip from preferential logic if.

a. Mill 01, 02,03 run and both ID and both FD run , if out of two FD
either A or B trip, coal feeder C will be Trip.

Coal feeder D will trip from preferential logic if.

b. Mill 01, 02,04 or Mill 02, 03,04 run and both ID and both FD run , if
out of two FD either A or B trip coal feeder D will be Trip.
Coal Mill Lube Oil Pump
START PERMISSIVE:

1. Feeder should be remote selected.

2.Trip signal should be LOW.

3.No run time error

TRIP INTERLOCK:

1. if remote selection changed to local.

2. if Trip signal become high.

3. If Run time Error High.

AUTO START

1. standby pump should be in auto mode.

2.if Running pump trip or off .

OR

3.if Discharge pressure switch acted.

SEAL AIR FAN


START PERMISSIVE:

1) Remote selection signal from feeder should be HIGH

2) Any 1 of the Pa fan should be ON

3) Inlet & Outlet Dampers should be Closed.

4) Trip signal should be Low from feeder.

5) No Run time error should be High


TRIP INTERLOCK:

1) If Trip is High from feeder.

2) If Run time error is high from feeder.

3) If Remote selection signal from feeder becomes Low.

SCANNER COOLING AIR FAN


START PERMISSIVE:

1) Remote selection signal from feeder should be HIGH

2) Outlet damper should be closed.

3) Trip signal should be Low from feeder

4) No Run time error should be High

5) Seal Air Fan Suction Valve should be closed.

TRIP INTERLOCK:

1) If Trip is High from feeder.

2) If No Runtime error Becomes High.

3) If Remote selection signal from feeder becomes Low.

LDO PUMP
START PERMISSIVE:

1) Remote selection signal from feeder should be HIGH

2) Control Healthy signal should be high

3) Trip signal should be Low from feeder

4) No Runtime error should be High

5) Tank Level > 250 MMWC


TRIP INTERLOCK:

1) If Trip is High from feeder.

2) If No Run time error becomes High.

3) If LDO Day Tank Level <250 MMWC .

AUTO START :

1. Discharge Header Pressure <14 KG/CM2

2. Running pump OFF Or TRIP F/B.

ACW PUMP
1. 3rd Motor will start automatically , when ever any running Motor is OFF/TRIP
Condition.

BOILER TRIP
1) If Drum Level is >= +250mm with 10 sec. Delay.

2) If Drum Level is <= -250mm with 30 sec. Delay.

3) If Air Flow(FD+PA) < 108TPH

4) If Furnace Pressure >= +80 with 8 sec Delay .

5) If Furnace Pressure <= -100 with 8 sec Delay.

6) If both ID fans Trip.

7) If both FD fans Trip.

8) Loss of fuel (when all coal feeder trip).

9) Emergency Trip Command from DCS.

10) If unit flame failure ( when all oil and coal flame off).
In case of Boiler trip:

1. All coal feeder trip.

2. All mill trip.

3. All Oil burners cv emergency shutdown.

4. Both PA fan Trip.

HFO PUMP
START PERMISSIVE:

1) Remote selection signal from feeder should be HIGH.

2) Control Healthy signal should be high

3) Over load Trip signal should be Low from feeder

4) No Runtime error should be High

TRIP INTERLOCK:

1) If Trip is high from feeder.

2) If Control Healthy signal low

3) If Runtime error becomes High.
