ENVIRONMENNT/EXERCISE Here’s how different types of exercise benefit :

 Start slowly and gradually increase your

walking pace over three minutes until the
activity feels moderate (slightly increased
breathing, but should still be able to talk with
someone). If you feel too short of breath, slow
down your walking pace.
 Walk at a moderate pace for about five-ten
minutes the first time and each day try to add
one or two minutes as you are able. Aim for a
goal of walking (30-45 minutes per day ).
 Choose an aerobic activity that you enjoy
such as walking (outside or on a treadmill),
stationary cycling, swimming, and rowing or
water aerobics.
 Do some yoga exercise its ability to relax the
body and mind. Emotional stress can cause a
cascade of physical effects, including the
release of hormones like cortisol and
adrenaline, which narrow your arteries and
increase blood pressure. The deep breathing
and mental focus of yoga can offset this
stress.
OBSERVATION/OUT-  Follow-up monitoring, including periodic
PATIENT DEPARTMENT blood laboratory testing and ECGs.
 Monitor vital signs especially blood pressure.
Ask patient’s family members to learn how to
take blood pressure and pulse. Keep a record
of patient’s results. They could ask the doctor
when they should seek emergency medical
attention, or they could also learn to know
which blood pressure reading is dangerous.
 If chest, jaw, neck, back, arm, shoulder pain
is felt, shortness of breath, and cold sweat is
experienced, call help immediately.
Diet :  DASH a diet that rich in vegetables and fruits
can lower blood pressure, reduce the risk of
heart disease and stroke .

 Drink five or more glasses of plain water per

day have a much lower risk of fatal coronary
heart disease.
