In this study, the researchers used qualitative-descriptive method as a research

investigation to develop the suitable, relevant, and appropriate qualitative data. The
findings collected will provide a comprehension about the use of technological
advancements of online banking to help explain the result of the study.

Ethridge (2004), explain that the descriptive studies can be characterized as a simple
effort to determine, describe or define what is happening, while analytical studies try to
determine why or how it came about, researchers will use descriptive method as their
mode of exploration in this study aimed at casting light on current issues or problems
through a process of data collection that enables them to describe the situation more
completely than was possible without employing this method (Fox & Bayat, 2007).

Descriptive studies are aimed at finding out “what is,” so observational and survey
methods are frequently used to collect descriptive data (Borg & Gall, 1989).Descriptive
research involves gathering data that describe events and then organizes, tabulates,
depicts, and describes the data collection (Glass & Hopkins, 1984).

The researchers used in-depth interview to gather information and come up with the
appropriate data. In-depth interview allowed the participant to be freely as they want to
respond that is relevance to the questions given by the researchers.

The researcher conducted virtual interviews with the participant, and these interviews
involved semi-structured and generally open-ended questions that were few in number
and intended to know the opinions of the participant (Creswell, 2014). In-depth
interviews were mostly open-ended method that permits flexibility in explaining and
gathering data.
