1. SCOPE

This Coating Data Sheet covers specific requirements for the application of Coating System U2 and
supplements the general requirements of ECS 19-1-1-1, and the coating manufacturer’s technical data sheets
and application instructions.

2. APPLICATION

This coating system is intended for miscellaneous underground applications as specified in project documents
or drawings.

5. REPAIR PROCEDURES

Shop Repair
1. Repair of damaged and non-compliant coatings shall be by re-blasting and re-application of the same coating.
Field Repair
1. Repair of damaged coatings in the field shall be in accordance with ECS 19-1-1-3.
