I think that the most unusual thing I have ever eaten is sashimi.

It means raw fish salad, sliced about 0.5m thin, eaten with sauces such as soy
sauce, spices like ginger, wasabi. And of course, vegetables like perilla, white
radish and seaweed cannot be overlooked. The process to make a complete
sashimi dish is extremely elaborate and sophisticated, requires a very high
skill from the chef. The main ingredients for sashimi are raw fish dishes, so
the "standard" fish harvest must also use separate fishing lines. After catching
fish, fish will be killed immediately by piercing fish brain with a sharp nail and
then putting into ice cooler. The meaning of this is to preserve the fish for a
longer time (about 10 days) due to a very small amount of lactic acid still
contained in the fish. The ingredients commonly found in a traditional
Japanese sashimi dish are salmon, squid, shrimp, tuna, basa, pufferfish,
yellowtail fish, octopus, etc. The freshest ingredients are caught in the fall.
Also in a local community, people also use horse meat or chicken or liver to
make sashimi. All of these ingredients are enjoyed "fresh", with the exception
of octopus that are bare for being too chewy.
I'm scared of raw seafood, I can't even stand when I smell them . But I was
surprised that sashimi was delicious, I ate 2 plates at once! If you have never
eaten it, give it a try, you might like it as much as I do

I like eating many kind of food, but Pho is the food which I will never forget for the rest of
my life
Pho is essentially Vietnam’s signature dish, comprising rice noodles in a flavourful soup
with meat and various greens, plus a side of nuoc cham (fermented fish) or chilli sauce.
A basic bowl contains beef or chicken, topped with bean sprouts, lime wedges, and
fresh herbs such as basil, mint, cilantro, and onions. Depending on the restaurant or
roadside stall, you can also opt for more exotic ingredients such as gan (beef tendon),
sach (thinly-sliced pig stomach), and ve don (flank with cartilage). Typically eaten for
breakfast, pho is at a local restaurant or street market in Vietnam. Pho has shown its
position not only in Vietnamese cuisine but also world cuisine. Pho can be seen
everywhere from street stalls to high-end restaurants.
