ON-THE-SPOT REWARDS AND RECOGNTION

CY 2018

Gawad Agad Award

Dr. Celsa M. Catalufia (right) and Ms. Elizabeth M. Ysulan (left), both Education Program
Supervisors from Field Technical Assistance (FTAD) Division and Curriculum & Learning Division
(CLMD), respectively received a token from the PRAISE Committee through the Personnel Unit
represented by Ms. Mary Christine A. Odtojan, Administrative Officer IV. The two personnel were
recognized and rewarded for their prompt and complete submission of their monthly DTR with
attachments from January to December, 2018. The award was given during the Christmas Party of
the Regional Office at Balanghai Hotel and Convention Center, Butuan City on December 19, 2019.

For CY 2018, On-the-Spot Recognition was already implemented but was not given any
special documentation. The Office gives verbal recognition during gatherings such as the Monday
Convocation, Regional Conference and other functions which require the presence of the DepEd
Regional Office officials and employees.
Based on documentation, two female staff were awarded with Gawad Agad during the
Christmas Party of the Regional Office. The Administrative Officer IV in the Personnel Unit recognized
and awarded token to the awardees after evaluating the employees with consistent, complete and
prompt submission of the monthly Daily Time Record with attachments such as their Travel
Authority, Certificate of Appearance and Form 6 whenever necessary.
There were two female Education Program Supervisors recognized formally during the
Regional Office Christmas Party.
Although, not documented, the Chairperson of the PRAISE Committee used to offer snacks
and lunch among the PRAISE Committee members during their meetings considering that there is no
funds intended for the meetings with scarcity of budget for said activity. Every meeting of the
PRAISE Committee, snacks is backed up by the Assistant Regional Director Fidela M. Rosas.
