Evidence: Who would I like to be?

Think about your future. What plans do you have in mind? How do you want your
life to be in the future? Write a composition about your future in which you answer
the following questions:

 Where would you like to live?

 What would you like to study?

 Where would you like to work?

 Would you like to get married and have a family? Why / why not?

 What hobbies and free time activities would you like to do?

 What places would you like to visit when you go on holidays?

Important:

 Answer all the questions above in your composition.

 Give a title to your composition.

Example:

My future life

I would like to live in a smaller city near the beach, like Santa Marta. I really
like swimming in the ocean and enjoying hot weather. Though Bogota is a
nice city full of opportunities, but I am tired of contamination and stress. It
would be a good change.

After I finish at SENA, I would like to continue studying. I want to be a

psychologist, so I want to study psychology at Nacional University because
they have the best Psychology programs in Colombia. I have a friend who
studied there and he was quite happy with the university.

I would like to work for Google. They say it is the best company in the world.
Employees don’t have to wear a tie and they can play video games and
relax when they feel tired. That would be quite the opposite of my current
job, where I have to wear an uniform and deal with stress all day.

I don’t think I would like to have a family. Instead I would love to be alone, at
least in the near future. I could consider the possibility of a family later on,
after having enjoyed life for some years.

One thing I would really like to practice is swimming. I really love swimming.
Unfortunately I cannot practice now because my free time is quite limited.
However, after I finish at SENA, I may have some extra free time which I can
occupy swimming.

Would you like to get married and have a family? Why / why not?

I wouldn’t like to get married. I would like to be single forever, so I can go to

parties and enjoy with my friends. Maybe one day in the far future I will have
a family. But in the near future, I want to be single.

Description:
 My future ideal life

I would like to live in Norway, in a place away from everything where the
landscapes leave you with your mouth open. You can live in Colombia have
some advantages and also where I was born but living there would give me a
better life.

After studying at SENA, I would like to study graphic design or fine arts at a
University, the clear options would be the National University or one in which
its programs focus only on art.

I would like to work in a company where I can apply all my knowledge about
multimedia and digital design. I have also thought about freelancing, selling
my work or people who like digital art.

Perhaps for about 10 or 15 years my thoughts are: I would not like to get
married or have a family, because my wishes and objectives are to study at
least one of the careers that I mentioned above and while I do that, work to be
able to travel, visit my family or just enjoy life.

I would like to spend my free time training or practicing some sport, probably
the idea of training to run a marathon or a triathlon is not so exaggerated.

If I had everything I need, I would like to go to Japan, I think it is a totally

different experience than the one that has been seen in the west of the world,
it really is my dream and my great goal of all my life.
