1.To find the values from A to I

PQR: 148

Residual sum of square would be

E/148 = 1.043

So, E= 148 * 1.043

E = 154.36

2. The total sum of squares (D) = Value of regression of sum of squares + value of residual of sum of
squares (E)

So, D = E + 50.480

D = 154.364 + 50.480

D = 204.84

3. As we are considering linear regression hence there should be only 1 degree of freedom

So, I = 1

4. We have POR = 148

So, value of H = I + PQR

H = 1+ 148

H = 149

5. The value of regression mean square (F) = Value of regression of sum of squares / value of
regression (df)

F = 50. 480 /1
F = 50. 48

6. The value of F statistic (G) = Value of regression mean square / value of residual mean square.

G = 50.480 / 1.043

G = 48.39

7. B = 1 - (E/D)

B = 1 – ( 154.36 / 204.84)

B = 1 – 0.75

B = 0.25
