Ringkasan Value Proposition Design

1. Apa yang menjadi poin penting dan bermanfaat untuk Saya


- Untuk bisa memahami konsep dari suatu Value Proposition Design diperlukan pula pemahaman tentang konsep Design
Thinking yang terdiri dari Emphatize, Define, Ideate, Prototype dan Test. Value Proposition adalah apa yang kita tawarkan
kepada pelanggan dan mencakup dari beberapa elemen seperti keinginan pelanggan, keuntungan yang ditawarkan dan
harga. Value Proposition Design akan sangat berguna jika kita getting overwhelmed by the task of true value creation,
frustrated by unproductive meetings and misaligned teams, and Involved in bold shiny projects blow up. VPD akan
membantu dalam understanding the patterns of value creation, leveraging the experience and skills of our team, and
avoiding wasting time with ideas that will not work.
- Canvas merupakan tools yang dapat digunakan dalam Value Proposition Design. Design dan Test merupakan proses
dalam mencari apa yang menjadi goal, and what we’re looking for like the customers’ needs, plans, etc. Evolve
merupakan proses pasca pencarian. Pada The Business Model Canvas ada beberapa poin penting yang menjadi highlight
yakni customer profile dan value map yang nantinya jika sudah ditemukan benang merahnya akan menjadi fit. Berkaitan
dengan Customer Profile, bisa dimulai dengan menggunakan pertanyaan 5W+1H which will help and guide us to discover
the customer segments, value propositions, channels, customer relationships, revolve streams, key resources, key
activities, key partnerships, cost structure, and profit.
- We use the VPD for inventing something that is needed by our customer and also improving it into the better version
following by the surrounding. Plus, we should assess our VPD skills such ass entrepreneurial knowledge (This is the
fundamental ones), tool skills, design thinking skills (like I have mentioned before), Customer Empathy, and
Experimentation Skills.
- Customer Gains describe the outcomes and benefits our customers want. There are required gains, expected gains,
desired gains, and unexpected gains. The relevance of gain is good when it comes to something essential but the value
will decrease when it is only the nice to have thing.
- These are the steps to understand and how to put ourselves into our customers’ shoes. The first one is actually select
customer segment, identify customer jobs, identify customer pains, identify customer gains and the last one is prioritize
jobs, pains and gains by collecting the data after having interview with your customers.
- The value map is used to describe explicitly how our products and services create value. Pain relievers and gain creators
are used to create value for the customer in different ways. The difference is that the former specifically addresses pains
in the customer profile, while the latter specifically addresses gains. The difference between these two with pains and
gains are the first one we cannot decide over which jobs, pains, and gains the customer has. And no value proposition
addresses all of customers’ jobs, pains, and gains.
- Three stages of fit are problem solution fit, product market fit, and business model fit
- Design sangat berhubungan dengan prototyping yang mana merupakan sebuah model untuk melatih dalam
pembangunan konsep secara kasar, murah, dan dalam periode yang cukup sebentar untuk bisa mempelajari tentang
keinginan, kelayakan, dan kelangsungan hidup dari the alternative of value propositions and business models. The Design
is basically used to gain a better customer understanding and here are the three steps that we should do if we interview
our customers. The first one is create a customer profile, then create an interview outline and the last one is review
interview.
- The process of testing started by extracting hypotheses, prioritizing hypotheses, designing test, prioritizing test, running
tests, capture learnings, and making progress.
- Test card is a strategic testing tool to design and structure our research and experiments
- In the evolve step, we use the Value Proposition and Business Model Canvas as a shared language to create alignment
throughout every part of our organization while it continuously evolves. Then we constantly measure and monitor our
value propositions and business models in order to improve relentlessly and reinvent ourselves constantly just like I have
written in point 10th and to complete the objective of VPD.
