Start of the Program

MC 1: Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the Commencement,

Commissioning, and Graduation Ceremonies of the Certificate in Teaching
Religion Program. I am Mr. Jhomar Lozano, and with me is Dr. Francine Rose
Bofill. We are your hosts for today’s program.
MC 1: This day marks a very special occasion for the Theology and Religious
Education Department since today is a celebration of significant events for
CTRL. We celebrate today the Work of the Spirit on the graduating students of
Batch 25, who shared their time, talents, and gifts in responding to the call to
become catechists. We will also have the commissioning and turn-over
ceremony of Batch 26.
MC 2: We also recognize today the presence of the CTRL Batch 27, who, despite the
challenges brought by the pandemic, still heeded God’s call to become teachers
of the faith. With open arms, we welcome you to the family.
Now, to formally start the program, please place your right hand over your heart
for the singing of the Philippine National Anthem.
