Comments
1. Corner Cantilever Slab RF not to standard practice. (Refer Figure 1)
(It is recommended to have 2/2T16 T/B at the corner at such instances)
2. Top Slab Rebar has not been placed as per structural drawings at B10. (Refer Figure 2)
(It is recommended to continuous top rf as per the structural drawings)
3. Top Rebar has been cut and placed at Toilet Drop areas (Refer Figure 3)
(It is recommended to remove the existing disjointed rebar and replace with a continuous bar at beam location)
4. Inadequate Rebar and Stools and lift area and other locations. (Refer Figure 4)
(It is recommended to fix adequate stools to maintain the rebar separation and provide rebar as per struct drawings)
5. Separation between 1st and 2nd Layers in bars should not exceed 25mm as per BS8110:1997 (Refer Figure 5)
(It is recommended to lift the second layer bars to the required height as much as possible)
6. B7 has conduit running vertically through the beam near supports (Refer Figure 6)
7. B7 has conduit pipe Regifoam® terminations at mid-hight of the beam i.e within compression zone (Refer Fig 7)
(It is recommended to ensure that conduit is fixed as per the Engineers’ recommendations)
8. B12 has missing/inadequate Top RF at Support. (Refer Fig 8)
(It is recommended to place the additional 2T16 at top as the per the structural drawings)
9. B9 has missing/inadequate Top RF at Support. (Refer Fig 9)
(It is recommended to place the additional 1T20 at top as the per the structural drawings)
10. B3, B7 and B13 have not been isolated from the masonry wall
(It is recommended to place a 12mm Regifoam® layer at the beam bottom prior to casting.
11. Miscellaneous Observations: Formwork Gaps, Side / Bottom Cover, Loose Props
(It is recommended to close the abovementioned gaps, fix cover and tighten the props)
