Problem Statement
This project's purpose is to identify the effects of petrol pollutions from the petrol oil
companies on the environment and the impact it causes on respiratory-related illness in the
metropolitan area of Louisiana state. This project's basic hypothesis is to study incidents that will
prioritize the efforts to prevent and identify the causes of the healthy impact of petroleum release
products incidences that might result in death and injuries. The report shows that there are
seventeen refineries accidents of about three hundred and one to the state in 2011. There was the
spilling of 1.3 million gallons and over a million toxic pound chemicals in the air, water, and
soil. These chemicals included benzene and sulfur dioxide, which cause cancer and triggers
asthma. Even after this incident, the refinery managers continue to act as if they're no accident
problem. Until the facts are faced, the oil industry, environment, and our health will suffer.
Based on the report and research/survey conducted, a large quality mass of explosive
gases and oil spill cases are regularly reported and have small attentions, which is considered.
The publicity received from these cases can help study the incidents, prevention efforts, and the
cause of the health impacts. Analysis from the substance and disease data shows that a total
number of one thousand three hundred and sixty-nine incidents are reported from the petroleum
release incidents. This resulted in five hundred and twelve injuries and thirty-six deaths. The ten
percent of released petroleum products results from unprevented damages in utility lines. In
Louisiana, there's a significant increase in the pollution refinery incidents compared to twenty-
ten. The refineries have experienced a total number of three thousand three hundred and thirty-

nine accidents from soil and air gallons since two thousand and five. The report showed that
about two thousand peoples live two miles away from the refineries keeping considerate health
impacts accidents. Report requests the industry to hire full-time workers and recommends that
government agencies increase enforcement by engaging workers and residents in the refinery
inspections. It is important to understand the acute petrol products release, which can help
develop preventive measures to reduce the accidents associated with such release.
On successfully visiting Louisiana, interviews were conducted with the residents living
some miles from the refineries, where most incidents were caused by gas lines leakages. They
visited refineries and selected the worker through random sampling, and it was known that there
involved damages of lines and cuts due to contractor and construction worker's errors. The
petroleum release incident was inspected by a focus group conducted to understand the cause of
exploration related to natural gas distribution. It was found that some were caused by digging.
The questionnaires were given to understand the worker's progress in the industries which would
help reduce personal injured accidents. Suggestions were made to hire residents for a full-time
job. Ethnographic research carried out in Louisiana considering refineries as a major source of
pollutants in the area and is regulated by water, air, and land environment laws. The case study
research was done to understand the increased refinery accidents pollution in the year twenty-ten
The ignored policies, which resulted in the reports and doubting the public records'
accuracy on where the data is based, refiners should work with the community and unions to
make the plants safer. The causes of Most common petroleum release incidents can be prevented.

Homeowners, contractors, and construction workers should understand the environmental and
potential health consequences of gas line damages when working around them. Public members
should be educated to be aware of how to identify gas leakage and the causes of petroleum
products misuse.
